D-Day Afternoon Tea

D-DayOur D-Day afternoon tea was one to remember. Thank you to all who attended and made the day so special. Extra thanks go to our amazing volunteers who went above and beyond, Frodsham Town Council for funding the event and Til Death Bakery for the delicious food.

The Frodsham Bee Friends has long been a place where people from across the community can meet and make social connections. The organisation runs regular coffee mornings at the Cheshire town’s Parish Hall to help the community come together.

A Bowl of Soup and a Slice of Music

SoupFrodsham Bee Friends are delighted to invite you to join us for A Bowl of Soup and a Slice of Music on Thurs 28th Sept, Thurs 26th Oct and Thurs 30th Nov. At each session you will be able to enjoy a bowl of hot soup, bread and cake, whilst listening to young, post-graduate musicians from the Royal Northern College of Music performing some light classical music. Please join us if you can between 10.00 -14.00.

Music for an Autumn Afternoon

Autumn MusicFurther down the road at Castle Park Arts Centre, off Fountain Lane, another group of musicians from the Royal Northern College of Music will be offering three Sunday Afternoon concerts on Sun 24th Sept, Sun 29th Oct and Sun 26th Nov. All the concerts last an hour and start at 14.00. The café at the Arts Centre will be open from 13.00 on cert days serving hot/cold drinks and an assortment of biscuits. Tickets cost £12.00 each and are available from Dandelion on Church Street, or at the door on concert days. This concert series is especially good for people who want to enjoy some classical music during the day throughout the autumn. Please join us if you can and perhaps ask a friend, neighbour or an acquaintance to join you.
